Mommy highlight

Earlier, she bent down and said "Give mommy a kiss."
I treated her by running towards her and giving a smooch on the lips.

Her first kiss, and she was very happy.

Weekend update

Hi all,

Had a fun week - twice went to the zoo and hit my first Halloween party. On Sunday afternoon, we went to the Haight Halloween party - it was a little spartan, but afterwards we met Isabelle Anderson and her parents at the playground at GGP. She's 4.5 months old, and it's hard to believe that I was ever her size - very impressed with her first experiences on the swings and slides. (Be sure to check the pics & read the captions)

DEVELOPMENT ALERT ... I can now take off my own pants.

Tidbits:
- Corn on the cob - have you tried this? It's a little strange to eat, and I'm not quite grasping the concept.
- Broccoli and spaghetti sauce is tasty!
- I like to use utensils when eating some of my food. I'm comfortable using either hand, so we're still not sure if I'm going to be right or left handed. At this point, the left seem slightly ahead but not by much.
- Pursuant to the post about storing food on the floor - I can now throw food into separate rooms (the hallway and kitchen) Nice!

Updated w/ pics: Update

Had a great Saturday. Daddy's friends came over for the USC game - you know, the one in which SC blasted Notre Dame 38-0. Listen to this crew ... Gwyn, McKenna, Dorian. Yeah, I had a great time. Plus, Gwyn brought some yummo chicken.
In the evening, Liz & Kev Zoryan came over for dinner. They are very cool (and not just b/c they brought me a fun shapes/hammer toy)

Sunday, we went to the pumpkin patch w/ Nate Dewan and his folks. Poor guy's teeth are busting through his gums - not pretty.

Message to my fellow munchkins: You're probably like me ... you like snacking. Here's my tip to ensure food is always available ... hide it on the floor. It's rather simple - when your parents aren't looking, throw some bits off each side. Your parents will probably pick up most, but there will be a few nuggets left - I guarantee it.

Why am I the only one w/out a hat or sunglasses? I would really like an explanation.

2 cameras. I'd rather post the photo where we're looking at the camera and the moms are looking elsewhere.

I wonder if Nate's dad will be our first hockey coach?

Update

Hi all,

Lots to catch up on –

Last weekend was fun. Met Calum Gregory, who is a very cool little guy. At dinner, both of us raise a ruckus, but once we got home, we had a blast. See the pics in the album and I’ll throw some video up at some point.

Big event from this past weekend was daddy’s half marathon. We drove to San Jose to watch him and Uncle Dorian run, but it was sort of a rip-off b/c while I was there for 2+ hours, we saw them only twice for about 1 minute each time. In reality, I spent the whole time w/ mommy & A Nicole (which isn’t bad) Props to the Doriani for a great effort in his organized run.

Sunday afternoon, daddy fixed the washing machine – he’s such a star.

Tidbits:
- the bumps and bruises are coming. I’ve been experimenting w/ my climbing, running, and other types of dangerous activities. Good news is that all my scrapes and bumps are healing quickly.
- Hello! I am treating everything like a phone – I’ll take a playing card and hold it up to my ear and pretend to listen. Same for toys, small books, and actual phones.
- Zeke and I hit the local pumpkin patch!
- I’m now brushing my teeth – see the pic. Don’t you dig it?

Video - ah yeah!

Ladies & Gentlemen,

I've just arrived in the 21st Century ... w/ video. I'll be posting more clips over the next few weeks.

See the first video above ... Como hace el lion? (What does a lion do?)
