Xmas in Ohio

All, here are some photos from my first presents with mommy and daddy in SF then from our trip to Ohio.

Vegetables

Been eating a lot of vegetables recently. The first batch wasn't that good since mom forgot to cook the green beans, but at least they care enough to only give me organic. I like almost everything, but I would say my favorites are butternut squash and sweet potatoes.

Thanksgiving in the OC and Cabo

Had a great time over the past 10 days. Spent Thanksgiving in Cypress with my grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncle.

Then, we spent a whole week in Cabo. I had a great time chilling at the pool and floating in my inner tube – you can see pics in the pics section. Dad let me sit in the Gulf of Mexico and I let him know I didn’t appreciate the sand or the waves. We stayed close to the hotel but did make one trip into Cabo. Can’t wait to be a little older so I can swim in the pool, play golf, and eat more Mexican food.

This weekend was my parents' anniversary. To treat them, I rolled over for the first time.

She makes me laugh, reads to me, takes me to the park and library, and she teaches me Spanish.

Aunt Renee and Tahoe

Hi all,

Met my Aunt Renee this weekend - she digs me and gives great gifts. We went to Tahoe with my parents so they could go to Monica's wedding.

Guys weekend

Mommy went to Park City with her Ohio friends. Daddy and I had a lot of fun at the park, taking walks, and playing with my toys.

Uncle Jeff

Uncle Jeff Ballinger visited this weekend. We had a great time playing w/ my toys and cruising around the city. We went to my first SF Giant’s game.
Jeff really really loves Oreo ice cream sandwiches. I’ll have to try one when I’m a little older.

Hooters!

Went to Hooters today with the guys from EI. Mommy dressed in an owl sweater, so needless to say, I was a hit! Can't wait to eat chicken wings!

Man, Ethan is one huge dude! Both he and Colby are two cool guys. Everyone wanted a good picture of us, but we refused to cooperate.

Birth announcement

Here is my sweet birth announcement. Much thanks to Michael Johnson and his mad creativity.

Birthday!

It's been a very exciting 24 hours. I was due on May 30th, but I’m a go-getter and wanted to arrive a few weeks early.

Yesterday at 3:15pm, Mommy was at the Paper Source in the Marina looking for baby announcements then BAMM! Her water breaks. Naturally, there is a big mess on the floor but I wanted to give warning that I was on the way. Dad was across the street buying running shoes, so he ran over. They called the RN then headed home with instructions on when to go to the hospital. Over the next 5 hours, they packed the hospital bag then worked until midnight. Mommy couldn’t sleep so Daddy tried to catch a few hours of sleep. At 2:15am, it was time to go. The triage RN did a few tests and confirmed that I’d be arriving today.

You can ask my parents about the birth – I hear it was amazing. (and I hear that my cool mommy wore sunglasses and a USC hat for part of it!)

Over the next couple days, I did nothing other than sleep, fill diapers, and accept hugs & kisses, but it’s pretty clear my parents are over-the-top in love with me.

I was pleased that Aunt Ellen, Aunt Erika, Aunt Mariann, & Aunt Karie visited me in the hospital.
